The Tapco Group acquired Monroe, OH-based Deceuninck North America’s Clubhouse Deck & Rail products on January 29, the company announced today in a press release.
“To help our customers grow in today’s competitive marketplace, we are constantly exploring opportunities to innovate our product line—both organically and through acquisition,” said Dave Ulmer, president of The Tapco Group.
Residential and nonresidential decking is poised for strong growth in the upcoming years. According to a recent Freedonia Group research study, demand is forecast to grow to 3.5 billion lineal feet by 2018. Polymer based decking is cited as one of the fastest growing segments, thanks to its low maintenance requirements and long lifespans.
All of Tapco’s products, including the new Clubhouse Deck & Rail, are manufactured in the USA. Clubhouse Deck & Rail delivers an upscale, authentic woodgrain look, and is an ideal complement to any home. Distinctive variegated grains give Clubhouse a truly unique, natural wood feel. The Hardwood Collection is designed with variations in colors and patterns to allow for the most realistic replication of hardwood decking. Stylish solid shades allow the Earthtone Collection to deliver the look of painted wood without the need for continual maintenance. Clubhouse has a limited transferable lifetime performance warranty, and a 25-year limited fade & stain warranty.
“Our main objectives are to provide quality products with exclusive, leading edge technology, best-of-class marketing programs and an unrivaled customer experience” said Ulmer. “Adding upscale exterior product lines such as Clubhouse Deck & Rail to The Tapco Group is a sure way to achieve those objectives on a consistent basis.”
