Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) today announced that Aaron Sulzer has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. The appointment comes after an extensive internal and external search to fill the position, and is a key component of SPI’s overall management repositioning to accommodate the accelerated growth of the company. Sulzer will oversee SPI’s lumber, millwork, and fiber sales as well as transportation.
Sulzer has over 15 years of experience in the wood products industry, and has worked for SPI for nine years, most recently as Manager of the Structural Lumber sales group. Prior to working for SPI, he held lumber sales positions at Blue Linx Corporation, Burns Lumber Company (a division of the Swanson Group), and Precision Pine & Timber. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation based on integrity and a deep understanding of lumber manufacturing, sales, and the distribution processes.
“We are very pleased to promote Aaron to this position” said SPI President George Emmerson. “He has earned this promotion through his dedication and proven ability to grow our Structural Lumber sales as group manager. We look forward to even greater overall sales growth under Aaron’s leadership” he added.
