EBMDA Announces New Chair, Board Of Directors

The Eastern Building Material Dealers Association (EBMDA) announces Eric Tucker, President of Beatty Lumber and Millwork in Upper Darby, Penn., as the new Chair of its board of directors. Tucker was installed as Chair during the EBMDA’s Annual Meeting on Dec. 1, 2016 and co-chaired the taskforce to affiliate the EBMDA with the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA).

Also at the Annual Meeting, new members of the EBMDA’s board of directors were introduced.

The Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA) was established in New York in 1894 by a small group of pioneering lumbermen who recognized the value of cooperation. Today, the NRLA is an 1,150-member association representing independent lumber and building material suppliers and associated businesses in New York, New Jersey, and the six New England states. Beginning in January 2017, the NRLA will also begin working with members of the Eastern Building Material Dealers Association (EBMDA) in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C.
